James Kirkpatrick
Managing Director
After three decades in construction, made up of two as a specialist products expert and as the founder of WPC (formerly Waterproofing Concepts); James has been instrumental in developing and delivering the products and service we’re known for. As a licensed building practitioner he’s walked the walk, and with expertise across every aspect of the business he’s consistently proven he talks the talk too, continually developing the company’s offering and the skills of our team.
Brendon Langley
Operations Manager
Solving the unsolvable problems and providing one-stop solutions is what really motivates Brendon. Having delivered for our clients for the last seven years (and counting), his key role is to manage logistics and ensure every project moves forward. And with 20+ years in the building industry, Brendon’s ability to translate technical information with clients and team members alike makes his input invaluable.
Kelsi Wyatt-Grainge
Quantity Surveyor
Kelsi’s a whiz with systems and spreadsheets, meticulously calculating materials and labour costs to give clients the most accurate costing possible—“attention to detail” doesn’t even start to cover it. With over 12 years of experience across various roles in the construction industry, she knows all the ins and outs to provide accurate pricing to our clients, making sure everyone is on the same page right from the start.
Rinat Daudov
Assistant Operations Manager
Rinat works hard for his team, always focused on making sure they have what they need to make their job easier and faster. From monitoring Health and Safety compliance to organising workflow across multiple sites and supporting clients directly, Rinat is on it, making sure everyone’s expectations are met. And with years of experience in engineering and project management, he makes it all look easy.
Lynley McGregor
PA / Accounts
PA to James, Lynley has been with the company for the last 10 years. She helps him oversee much of the business’ day-to-day operations and enjoys the variety this position provides. Having worked in hospitality and banking for a combined 15 years before joining the construction industry nearly a decade ago, communicating and delivering reliably on-time with accuracy and honesty are second nature.
Sheree Beardsley
Construction Administrator
Setting up job leads, following up with clients, staying on top of H&S documentation, and liaising with clients, operations managers, quantity surveyors and more, all come easily to Sheree. She has a knack for details and her communication is second to none, making sure our jobs and invoicing run smoothly. And her master level of organisation is invaluable to the whole team.
John Buys
Cladding and Fabrication Manager
John is one of our cladding and fabrication experts who loves nothing more than to deliver on a client’s vision. He’s been in the metal industry for 19 years and enjoys the challenge each individual project brings. John takes a huge amount of pride in strategising solutions to work in a practical manner. He is responsible for training and mentoring our cladding and fabrication team, helping with quotes, and the fabrication and installation of upcoming projects.
Jason Dugdale
Project Manager
With his impressive attention to detail, Jason oversees the quality of our work and ensures all our partners’ expectations are met. With over two decades of experience in the industry (15 of those in waterproofing alone) Jason can certainly talk the talk. He loves seeing a good job done right the first time, and providing quality on-site training for the WPC team.
Scott Sparks
Roofing Foreman
An excellent problem solver with a high level of technical skill, Scott stays busy mentoring his team and leading them to deliver quality results, safely and on time. Clients appreciate his great communication, and his team appreciates the time he takes to pass on his knowledge from 20+ years in the industry.
Riaan Rohlandt
Roofing Manager
Riaan has been in the roofing industry for over 21 years, having run his own business for several years before immigrating to New Zealand. As our Roofing Manager, he is responsible for the daily operations of the roofing division, including scheduling work, problem solving, managing staff, procuring materials and communicating closely with clients. He’s a stickler for quality and takes pride in the work his team delivers on each project.
